Macmillan India Ltd announces new management of MPS Technologies
31 March 2009: Macmillan India Limited (also known as MPS) today announced that Ravinder Singh, CEO of their wholly owned subsidiary, MPS Technologies Limited (also known as MPST), has left the company. Ratan Hastu has been appointed COO, MPST with immediate effect.

MPST was launched in 2004 and its software development group has created a range of award-winning, technology-driven solutions for publishers and librarians, including online audience measurement tools (Scholarly Stats, MPST Insights) and digital content delivery platforms (ContentStore). Rajiv Seth, CEO, MPS commented, ‘MPST has a fantastic team in Gurgaon, creating innovative software products and services for the information industry which differentiate MPS from all of its competitors in the market. With the first phase of MPST’s product offerings now complete and adopted by some of the world’s leading publishers, we are excited by the opportunity to extend further the client base for MPST’.

Ratan Hastu, currently Chief Projects Officer with MPS, will take on the role of COO, MPST with immediate effect. With a post graduate degree in science, an MBA, and over 22 years of experience in the software industry, Mr Hastu is uniquely qualified to lead MPST’.
